As I mentioned in my election day post, 2016 was a terrific year for our cause. Building on historic Alzheimer's policy developments in 2015, we celebrated further progress on advancing Alzheimer's research funding and better Alzheimer's care through Medicare.

And the progress went well beyond policy. The 2016 election cycle, more than any other in history featured candidates talking about Alzheimer's disease. Thank you to all of you for everything you do to help raise Alzheimer's disease into the national spotlight.

Yet for all these developments, we have much more work to be done. As the Trump Administration begins to form and we are just two months away from the 115th Congress taking their seats, we are already hard at work with the new and returning leadership to advance public policy solutions that will improve the lives of those living with Alzheimer's disease and their caregivers.
